  The Fonds de Solidarité et des Initiatives Etudiantes (FSDIE) can fund student projects or associations. These projects related to sport, culture, ecology, mutual aid, citizen involvement, and more, aim at reaching as many students as possible and improving student life at the University of Evry Val d'Essonne.

Each academic year, the University helps students or student associations set up their projects.

Here are some examples of funded projects...

The « Reg'arts d'ecologie » student project sponsored by the CréAsac association :

It allowed the organisation of a meeting from 3rd March to 16th March 2008 in which artists of all ages and artistic disciplines (painting, sculpture, photography, architecture, comics, music and theatre) explored different points of view about ecology. This was followed by a debate. The BU (University Library) and the MJC of Evry Village hosted an exhibition of ecological pictures.

Result : 345 people took part in that meeting; 139 of them were students from the University

The “Handivalides” project sponsored by the Starting-Block association :

This project aimed at making the University community aware of sensory and motor deficiencies through the pr actice of common activities.
On April the 15th 2008, the following actions were carried out at the University:

  • “Forum Handicap” so as to raise awareness through recreation and education
  • A sensory journey which allows the able bodied to experience the difficulties of blind people and those with reduced mobility.
  • A sightless meal
  • A round table on the issues linked to public transportation

Result : About one hundred students took part in that event.
