Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management

Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management; Course of Study L3 Economic Sciences
Droit, Economie, Gestion

Academic year : 2017 / 2018

last update 04/12/2012

    Course objectives and characteristics

This training in economics is initially general (microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics) and offers the possibility of choosing between two orientations in the second semester: either a more financial orientation or a more econometric route.

The economic sciences course of study of the Economics and Management degree is a passport to further study in the form of a Master's degree in economics, management or finance. The Master's degrees "Evaluation of public policies" and "Finance" at the University of Evry are a natural path to take for students in this course of study.

    Course structure

2 options: economics and finance/ econometrics, evaluation of economic decisions
The final year (L3) marks the beginning of specialisation.

Each year is made up of two teaching semesters, at the end of which exams are organised. The lessons, Tutorials (known as TD) and Practical Seminars (or TP), are organised into Teaching Units (TU). Some subjects are compulsory, others are chosen from a range of options. These optional papers offer students the chance to study topics of interest from the course in greater detail and/or to discover topics from other disciplines and to explore inter-disciplinary approaches.

    Accompagnement pédagogique

Students receive academic support in various forms throughout their studies :

    • Access to online services (academic portal, course resources, personal online progress monitoring),
    • A designated supervising tutor,
    • Advice on orientation towards a Master's degree, provided by the teaching team and the PIOLE centre (Information and Orientation for Pupils and Students),
    • Opportunities to obtain diplomas in modern languages and ICT during the course (CLES, C2I).

    Internship

The teaching units are supplemented by a work placement.
