Danielo Gonçalves Gomes received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), Brazil, in 1997 and 2000, respectively, and his Ph.D. degree from the University of Evry, France, in 2004. He is currently with the Graduate Program in Teleinformatics Engineering at UFC (www.ppgeti.ufc.br), where he is working as associate professor and advisor for PhD and MSc students. Research member of the Group of Computer Networks, Software Engineering and Systems (www.great.ufc.br), his research interests include mainly the fields of performance evaluation and design of traffic controls for multiservice networks as well as automated network management systems. Dr. G.Gomes has been serving as a journal referee for Computer Networks (1389-1286), Computer Communications (0140-3664), Ad hoc Networks (1570-8705), and Journal of Network and Computer Applications (1084-8045). He has also served as ad hoc reviewer for several IEEE conferences and as TPC member of the Brazilian Symposium on Computer Networks and Distributed Systems (SBRC).
