 Research Engineer – LRSM, UNIV EVRY, FRANCE (9/2005 – Present)

Objectives: implement the new solutions, innovating new techniques for seamless mobility, security and services over heterogeneous networks and NGN. Working on Projects CELTIC – Seimonet, ITEA – SUMO.

Approach:

  1. To design new architectures to ensure seamless mobility in heterogeneous networks
  2. To identify and develop the new security and mobility mechanisms and to define new techniques for seamless integration of heterogeneous network i.e.. WLAN, WIMAX, Cellular Networks.
  3. Developing a prototype for the implementation of clients of an operator roaming from one operator access networks into the other access networks (WISP operator and wireless network operator-WIMAX) using WVNO.
  4. Network selection criteria, handover switching mechanisms.
  5. To design and implement the handover optimization techniques for UMA based networks (WLAN, WIMAX with 3G integrations).
  6. IEEE 802.21 based media independent handover.
  7. QoS and presence management of user in data networks.
  8. VoIP and IPTV on WLAN, WIMAX and 3G networks.
  9. WIMAX mesh and multihop networking, WIMAX and WLAN integrated networks study and implementations.

Objectives:        
To develop a mobile IPv6, and seamless mobility solutions to integrate and demonstrate the capabilities of seamless mobility   

Approach:    

  1. To develop a mobile IPv6 protocol suite.
  2. To work in a team to integrate the solutions developed by the team.
  3. To integrate in the mobile prototype for demonstration of the mobile IPv6.
  4. To work on new tunneling mechanisms for Mobile IPv6.
  5. Seamless mobility development over IPv4 and IPv6.

Results & Benefits:    

  1. Successful implementation of Mobile IPv6 and seamless mobility.
  2. Demonstration of prototype for different partners and other team members of Motorola.

ANALYST – ELECTROBUG TECHNOLOGIES, INDIA (9/2002 - 8/2003)

Objectives:
To work as a consultants for the different organizations for their data maintenance

Approach:

  1. Database management.
  2. Communicate with the clients for their requirements and their issues to resolve.
  3. Study the competitor strategies.
  4. Develop the macros and to generate the scripts for data mining and for data extraction from the database.
  5. To maintain daily reports and issues regarding the clients requirements.
