Internationalization is an integral part of the University of Evry-Val-d'Essonne policies in regards to education and research.

International policies

We carefully choose our partners, seeking highest quality education and innovative research, structuring our international cooperation based on bilateral cooperation agreements and double degrees. Our university is prepared to share its expertise in training programs, assessing the implementation capability of our partners and making sure that they are successful in accomplishing their goals.

The University of Evry-Val-d'Essonne has partners all over Europe and is focused now on making use of its cooperation potential with specific geographical areas (Africa, Brazil, Canada, China, among others) in the context of the multi-institution strategy of the Université Paris-Saclay, of which we are a member organization. Personnel mobility is encouraged, specially when coupled with the professionalization of our partners' courses in one of the aforementioned target zones.

First and second cycle students are expected to consolidate abroad the skills and knowledge obtained in Evry, as well as perfect their proficiency in the foreign language of the host institution. Second cycle students are the core of the incoming mobility; they are perfectly prepared to attend our courses. In the matter of research Masters, more and more degrees are being undertaken under joint supervision with our international partners. Third cycle partnerships are established with aims of excellence in research and in the training of new PhD's. Co-tutelle agreements are the most important ressource in this case. We favor our established partners over individual applications.

The ultimate objective of our university is the creation of double degrees. In the context of the Erasmus+ framework, the University of Evry-Val-d'Essonne desires to further develop our existing agreements and expand our curriculum to include additional international programs, specifically with respect to training programs and innovative research. We plan to develop e-learning platforms, lend our partners our know-how and help with the optimization of procedures. This is our strategy.
